I began using cranberry capsules for my female dog who was prone to urinary tract infections. Following my vet's suggestion, this supplement has worked wonders; she hasn't experienced any infections over the past three years.

Effective infection prevention

UTI fighter #1. Since my urogynecologist suggested I take a daily regimen of antibiotics to prevent monthly urinary tract infections, I have used two capsules of this dried cranberry extract every morning. Over the past couple of years, I have only had about one infection per year. For those of us who don't consume iodised salt and dairy, cranberries become a fine source of iodine. These cranberry capsules have been life savers for me.
